The corner plot at the junction of Tsamis Karatasou and Karatzas Streets contained a small urban «jungle» hiding part of the dump and the garbage behind it. Over the years, this engendered a place of delinquency and a hazardous environment. The idea was to create a green space and to reuse abandoned timber, scaffolding and metal pieces and old tiles found in the plot for the new design. Neighbours and members of atenistas, cleared the plot thoroughly. After 6-7 hours of hard work, the plot of land looked completely different. The neighbourhood was provided with a new open green space, to keep clean, to maintain and defend it against abusive use.
